Haji Mohammad Yusree bin Haji Junaidi was appointed as Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism on 14th November 2020.
Prior to his appointment, he served as Senior Special Duties Officer at the Department of Fisheries (2018-2020) and at the Department of Electrical Services (2018). Haji Mohammad Yusree began his career in the civil service as Legal Counsel and Deputy public at the Attorney General's Chambers from 1991 to 2016. In 2016, he moved to the State Judiciary Department where he was appointed as Acting Director until 2017. From 2017 to 2018 he was appointed as Solicitor General at the Attorney General's Chambers.
Haji Mohammad Yusree graduated from University of Liverpool, United Kingdom in 1990 with Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree. He also obtained his professional qualification on Barrister-at-Law in 1991 from Lincoln's Inn, United Kingdom.
He was conferred with Excellent Service Medal (P.I.K.B) in 2002, the Meritorious Service Medal (P.J.K) in 2009, and The Most Honourable Order of Seri Paduka Mahkota Brunei 3rd Class (S.M.B) in 2012, Long Service Medal (P.K.L) in 2013 and The Most Blessed Order of Setia Negara Brunei 3rd Class (S.N.B) in 2017,.
Haji Mohammad Yusree bin Haji Junaidi is married and enjoys hiking and cycling.
